Daniel Quinn grew up in a retirement community called Deltona, Florida, where he spent his teenage years avoiding suburb-sized sinkholes and bath salt-powered cannibals. The lure of perpetual winters encouraged him to relocate to New England. If you ask him where he’s from, he’ll say Queens, New York.

In his 15+ years as a freelance web designer, Daniel has served traditional publishers and digital advertisers throughout the city of Boston. He’s held positions as a copywriter, web developer, and technical lead at Genuine Interactive, Harvard Common Press, PJA Advertising, Leap Agency, and Boston Magazine.

When he’s not wasting his time on the Internet, Daniel is a forever DM for the indie tabletop RPG he created called Advanced Old School Revival (OSR+). He’s also an amateur boxer and listens to late 90s trip-hop. At Stetson University, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, where he studied contemporary poetry and Weird fiction. At Emerson College, he completed a Master of Arts in Writing, Literature, and Publishing.

Daniel lives in Arlington, Massachusetts with his wife and a grumble of imaginary pugs.
