Design Director Matt LeGrand of Common Sensing approached me to redesign his startup’s one-pager in anticipation of the launch of his new insulin-tracking device, the GoCap.
Also: WordPress, HTML5, JavaScript, PHP, Sass.
Common Sensing’s one-page launch website combines a WordPress foundation with JavaScript interaction work by Eric Demicco. Subtle easing effects animate the presentation, translating Matt LeGrand’s visual design into a focused introduction to the startup and its Gocap device.
Also: Healthcare.
Healthcare encompasses the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illness, alongside services and research that support individual and public health. My work includes websites for hospitals, specialist medical practices, home care providers, medical device companies, and research organizations.
Also: Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, Web Design, Web Development.
Matt LeGrand provided the visual design, Eric Demicco developed the interactions, and I built the WordPress website. My development work connected those contributions in a responsive single-page experience, keeping the product introduction focused while carrying the collaborators’ motion and visual direction through the implementation.
A coordinated build
Visual design and interaction in step.
I teamed up with JavaScript guru Eric Demicco who developed the interaction design, while Matt provided the visual design and I created the website in WordPress.
The slick, single-page experience features subtle easing effects that work seamlessly across all devices.
A fantastic job … His work completely transformed our web presence. He’s patient, thoughtful and talented. An innovator and a tireless worker. I recommend him highly and without reservation.
