Remote access and desktop software giant LogMeIn contacted me to work on a new solution for their many product blog properties. The visual design was provided by Genuine Interactive. I suggested we build a WordPress Multisite installation, and helped the company begin the process of migrating all its disparate WordPress blogs into a single WordPress Multisite install.
I built a highly flexible theme that allowed LogMeIn to deploy each blog on its own unique domain, allowing blog editors to work from a single login and with a single set of user accounts. Thus, cross-product editors could administer the blogs for LogMeIn and LogMeIn Corporate, GotoMeeting, GotoAssist, LogMeIn Rescue, Jive, GetPrompt, HomeTab, LastPass, GotoMyPC, and Bold360 all from the same same theme. As a result, the new Multisite instance allows the company to save on development costs with the deployment of each new blog.
